How TAGG ORGANICS Began

TAGG ORGANICS was born from a desire to create skincare that felt honest, gentle, and thoughtfully made. Like many journeys into simple living, ours started at home — with curiosity, research, and a growing appreciation for ingredients that have been used for generations.

We didn’t set out to build a brand. We set out to make products we felt good about using ourselves — products that aligned with our values and didn’t rely on unnecessary fillers or shortcuts.

The Heart Behind the Name

 

At the heart of TAGG ORGANICS is our mom, Sylvia (better know as "Mimi" ) — a woman whose influence continues to shape everything we do.

Our Mimi passed away after a brave fight with cancer.
Walking through that experience changed everything for us—it opened our eyes to the importance of clean living in a way we couldn’t ignore.
Her story continues to influence every decision we make and is at the heart of why TAGG Organics exists.

That journey inspired us to learn everything we could about traditional ingredients and thoughtful skincare. Today, we share that knowledge through our Learning Center, where you'll find guides on grass-fed tallow, natural deodorant, and clean ingredients.

Why We Choose Traditional Ingredients

We believe that many of the most effective skincare ingredients have already stood the test of time. Grass-fed tallow has been used for centuries because of its compatibility with the skin and its ability to support simple routines without over complication.

We pair tallow with a short list of thoughtfully chosen ingredients — never more than necessary — because skincare doesn’t need to be complicated to be meaningful.

Our Slow, Intentional Process

Every product we make is crafted in small batches using very low heat. We never rush the process or use extreme temperatures to speed things up. That choice means it takes longer — and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

This approach helps preserve ingredient integrity and reflects our belief that good things take time.
